The Biblical Gospel Today - Part 1

Does the gospel or good news of Jesus Christ have any real relevance today in order to address the ongoing and rapidly declining moral, economic, and political situation around the globe and in particular those nations which have a history of Christian tradition? My answer is yes and no. I conclude this because the answer to this question depends on what the biblical gospel means and how it is understood today.

In this series, I want to survey Protestant theology with its various nuances about what is being taught and preached today in comparison to the evidence from the Bible. Is it the same gospel?

The Big Picture

But first, let’s understand the context of our times. We have just come out of a powerful global agenda that has fraudulently dictated effective Malthusian “pandemic” conditions and draconian and oppressive “solutions” (mask wearing, social distancing, isolation, shutdown of businesses and schools, and an experimental, deadly “vaccine”). Investigation into all this has revealed lie after lie from the beginning, and contradictory, manipulated data under the guise of “science.” This created a mass delusional hysteria.

The big picture reveals the advancement of a long-planned global agenda (called Agenda 21 and 2030) presently funded and directed by the International Monetary Fund and World Health Organization operating outside of national sovereignty. The end goal is to institutionalize every business, organization, education system, health care, and every individual to conform and submit to total, top-down control by 2030.

Access to your bank account, food, water, power, and medical care (if needed) and any other form of the necessities to live and function will be determined by faceless, unaccountable and unelected bureaucrats monitored by technocracy (contact tracing, surveillance, integrated electronic data banks, and AI). Either agree and bow in submission or be eliminated. And don’t think they don’t mean it!

This is the dream of Communist/Marxist, Talmudic tyranny already in control and in force since the 1917 Bolshevik Revolution that literally murdered over 60 million White Russians. Now, they have stepped up their plan to take over everything. It’s here and in our faces!

How Did This Happen?

In view of the 10,000s of conservative evangelical Christian “churches” that exist today in America alone it must be asked, How could all this happen?

Where were the pastors over the past decades who were supposed to warn the people about what was going on and expose the wolves now deceiving and ravaging the sheep? Honestly, as I see it, the churches are pretty much useless and, in many cases, either knowingly or unknowingly, actually participating in and promoting the destruction of the People. See how many churches obeyed the government to shut down their meetings in violation of the Scripture. See how many were obediently wearing masks and isolating themselves, lining up to joyfully get their Covid-19 “vaccine” jab, which has nothing to do with protecting anybody from any “virus.” As we will see, both now and in the future, this is and will be deadly to many. No wonder “Christianity” is losing relevance. Something is wrong!

The Gospel

Could it be that the gospel that is being taught and promoted today is not the biblical gospel originally preached by Jesus Christ and His Apostles? The Apostle Paul wrote:

For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes . . . (Romans 1:16)

The biblical gospel is the power of God for salvation. Salvation has many applications – salvation of the soul, salvation from an evil age of deception, and salvation from our enemies. The biblical gospel has its primary foundation in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ (I Corinthians 15:1-4). But the full import of the message of the gospel was the inauguration of the Kingdom of God through the authority and power of the reigning King, Jesus Christ.

The biblical gospel is about taking dominion. Could it be that we are being overpowered by the enemies of Christ and His Covenant People because the “gospel” being preached today is not the biblical gospel? How can it be? The evidence I see leads me to reexamine what the biblical gospel means because today’s gospel message has no power to meet the challenge of a rapidly changing culture morally and politically.
